1. Should I rent or buy workwear ?
Save money on your workwear
In the UK, many companies providing workwear for their employees actually purchase their workwear directly from garment manufacturers or agents. A recent study showed that the main reasons for buying as opposed to renting were because they thought it was ‘cheaper than renting’ and ‘they’ve always bought their garments’. Some businesses didn’t even know there was another choice. Buying workwear can often cost too much.

One of the most often-cited reasons for buying rather than renting workwear is that companies believe it is cheaper. Wrong!

What about:
The capital outlay required to provide garments?
The hidden cost of the time and effort sourcing garments?
The extra cost of cleaning, repairing or replacing garments?
Then you have to consider the other pitfalls of purchasing:
Who is responsible for cleaning the garments?
Will your staff want to do it? And can you be sure it will get done regularly?
How will poorly cleaned and maintained workwear affect your company image?
How can you be sure you have the right garments to comply with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene requirements?

2. What's the delivery time for orders?
For up to 10 items/units 1-2 days, no charge p&p incl
For 10+ items/units - £5.00 for 1-2 day delivery
For next working day delivery - £7.00 if order received before 11am on preceeding working day.
For customised garments please allow upto 7 days for delivery.
3. How do I order online?
Simply click on the online shop and select the garment type you are interested in then select the size, colour and quantity you require. the price will then be automatically calculated for you and you can then click on the 'add to basket' icon and continue shopping or checkout. Select your preferred delivery option. You must be a registered user before you can proceed with payment, just follow the instructions on the checkout page.
4. What payment methods can I use?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
5. Can I place an order by phone or email?

6. Can I order designs on the sleeves of shirts?
Most of our garments have the facility to add your own text or logo.

Our new garment design tool on this website enables you to try different designs and different colours. Simply select the product you would like to add your design to and then click 'add your own design'.

7. Is your method of processing credit and debit card transactions secure?
YES!

Johnsons trust Skypay to provide their secure online payment processing system. All transactions are completed on a secure encrypted server, and at no point do we save your credit/debit card details.
8. What images can I upload for use in my design?
To upload images to the garment design tool, you must first register. This is FREE and will only take a couple of minutes.

Once you're registered you can add your own logo. There are instructions available if you are having problems.
